S1 Episode 4

Back home with my brother, life was pretty bland. It was the same schedule, day after day. Most days it was meals alone because Lane and Miana were busy with work. When she did have the time, then Miana would oversee every little thing in my life. Homework at 3:30, piano and 4. Worst than that, she really did not like childish things. So if I messed up anywhere, or didn't do exactly what she expects, I got blamed for ruining her image. She even would smash my toys if she was in one of her moods.

"I just don't know what to do with her Lane." Miana would tell my brother, "She's such a handful at times."

"Well, maybe she just doesn't have enough to do. How about a new activity to fill up her free time." Lane would say, then go back to his phone or discussing business. Looking back I can't really say I blame him, he knew little about children. But he also never really showed he cared. He left everything up to Miana when it came to me. So I was signed up for violin on top of everything else.

When I was home alone, I would often chat with our butler, Nobu. At first it was awkward for us both. I wasn't used to having someone be there to take care of everything, but also someone I had to consider beneath me, according to Miana. When ever she was around I wasn't allowed to "converse so casually" with him.

For Nobu, it was an abrupt change because they gave him little notice they'd be taking in a child. Took him getting some used to preparing new meals for and mentoring me. But after awhile we offered each other much needed company.

"How are you taking to the violin Miss?" Nobu joined me for dinner.

"I actually do like it. I just don't have time for playing or drawing anymore."

"Well, you may have sometime for that soon. I overheard your brother talking with your sister. I do believe she will be taking you to her home this weekend."

"Really?!" I squealled.

"Yes. A well deserved vacation. If I do say so myself Miss."

I was so excited to be seeing Susan, but also to be going to San Myshuno again. Susan picked me up and away we went. Susan remembered my love for art and took me to the art center.

"This is one of my favorite places. I've started to collect my own art too." Susan explained as we admired the works on the wall, "I've heard you've gotten into music. San Myshuno is a great place for that too. Let's go see some."

When we had finished listening to various musicians, we got to test out our own pipes at a karaoke. I had the best time with Susan, singing and laughing I will never forget those times. I had wished I could stay with her.

S1 Episode 3

My early childhood, from what I remember, was rather simple. My sister, Susan, continued to visit in between her many travels. She turned me on to the arts, and encouraged me in those pursuits.

"Art and the creation of it is freedom. I love visiting the many museums and getting lost in a painting. Or discovering a local musician, playing their hearts out on the streets." Susan dreamingly reminisced.

My childhood would forever change when my elderly parents eventually passed. Even in death, their love for each other and family seemed to shine. They passed while I was away at school, and from what I was told they passed together.

Now without my parents, I was taken in by Lane and Miana. My brother, and his wife, where super focused on their careers. But they did the best they knew at first. They had a room prepared for me in their big house. It was super girly and pink. To say the least, it wasn't what I was accustomed to.

"Now that you live with us, I hope to give you everything a young girl of our status would need." Miana stated once I was settled. She took me out shopping and gave me a makeover.

So there I was. Cute little dresses, polished black shoes and short kept hair. I was suddenly thrown into a new world where it mattered what I wore, and that we had a butler. Miana signed me up for piano. Our butler, Nobu, helped me practice daily.

In the evenings, we at dinner at a large table. It was really the only time we sat as a family or really even saw each other. But few words were spoken, aside from small talk or business.

The happiest moment I remember from after my parents passed was visiting Susan in her new temporary home of San Myshuno. She lived in a gorgeous apartment overlooking the city. And I looked at that city, and knew deep down that I wanted a home here too.

S1 Episode 2

I was quite the hand full. Still am I guess. But my parents were happy to have a little on to dote on again. They gave me all the love they had my older siblings, but also took more time for themselves than they had in recent years. They went out to festivals and dinners.

"It's like she's given us so much more life." mom would say, "We've been doing so much more with her in our lives."

My brother, Lane, did not agree. He had recently married his fiancé, Miana, and went into the business career.

"I just don't understand. You two aren't getting any younger. What if something happens to you, then what?" Lane questioned.

"We're not died yet Lane. If anything did happen, I would imagine her siblings would step in. Jennifer will be fine. Right?" Uriah replied.

"Well. Yes. But I just want you to know the position you've put me in. Susan, responsible, yes, but she's still young and definitely doesn't want to be tied down with a child. She's travelling the world. Which means Jennifer would have to live with me and Miana. We, aren't really looking to have kids anytime soon."

"If at all." Miana chimed in.

Of course, I was too young to know the behind the scene details. All I knew was that my BIG siblings visited me often. My brother mostly visited my parents, but my sister came to see me.

The older my parents got, the more I saw of Susan. She made sure I was learning at a top notch rate.

"I'll be out of town for her birthday, but I will visit as soon as I am back. I've taken an interest in art recently. I think Jenny should give it a try. It's good for kids to keep busy these days."

Like any growing child, I was optimistic about getting older and all the things I would experience. My parents were a little less optimistic. For the older I got, the older they got. They wanted me to be happy and have the best life could offer. But they knew they wouldn't be around to give me the world.

S1 Episode 1

"Welcome to Willow Creek". Those were the first words my parents heard as they stepped off the ferry. Young newcomers, Uriah and Lusie Hite, were following the Legacy dream.

They moved into a small house and soon started a family. They had two perfect kids, their son Lane and daughter Susan. They raised these kids in that tiny house with all the love any two sims could ever give.

If anyone asked how they did it, in that tiny one bedroom, the answer would be love. They never stopped loving each other or their children. But time passes, and they all grew older. Both kids wanted more for their lives than that neighborhood. Lane went into business as a young adult, and his younger sister Susan moved in with him to have better connections.

"Mom, Dad, what you two have together, others can only ever dream about. And while this small neighborhood was perfect for you two, there's a whole world out there I want to see. I don't think I will ever settle down like you guys." Susan confessed to our parents when she was 18.

Lane was recently engaged. My parents hope for a successful family legacy were with him.
"Miana and I really aren't thinking about kids. Not even for the future. We are both really focused on our careers, and happy with just that." Lane stated. So Uriah and Lusie wished their kids the best.

But that's not where the story ends. It's actually where mine begins. My parents, reaching the end of their adulthood, now in an empty, quite house, decided they missed the sound of little ones. And the prospect of grandchildren was bleak. Also I'm sure that bottle of nectar Lane bought them with his first promotion didn't help. My parents made the decision to have one more child, me. My name is Jennifer Hite. And this is my story.
